Nicole Anderson Steps Out With The Jonas Brothers
Rising star Nicole Anderson plays a superfan in the new Jonas Brothers‘ TV vehicle, the aptly named Jonas. But now we know why she’s attracting fans herself…
In Buzznet’s exclusive interview (conducted by our own Ms. Hanna Beth), Nicole reveals that she does have certain things in common with her character in the new Disney Channel series: she’s athletic (she was a serious gymnast in real life before turning to serious acting), and not unlike many other girls, she somehow turns a little klutzy around the JoBros. “I’m definitely a klutz in real life,” she says.
Though she wasn’t quite sure what to expect from them — “just because, you know, it’s the Jonas Brothers” — she found them “so down to earth.”
Not that they weren’t above a little punking of their co-stars, including Nicole’s BFF Chelsea Staub. “They were the hugest pranksters,” she says.
Check out the interview to hear about the “whole pranking war” and the nearly tear-inducing trick Joe Jonas engineered on his castmate.

No Doubt Giddy About “The Procrastination Tour”
I’m mad jealous of the Bamboozle attendees who get to witness the glory that is No Doubt this coming weekend. But following the Borgata show and Bamboozle comes their big deal tour with Paramore, which means the band begins to write new No Doubt songs! At last!

Gwen Stefani explained how this tour is intended to get their creative juices flowing:
“We’re calling it ‘the procrastination tour’ … well, I am, at least. I’m the biggest procrastinator,” Gwen Stefani laughed. “It’s not their fault, it’s my fault, because I had this whole game plan: ‘OK, I’m gonna go on tour with my last record, I’m gonna come home, I’m gonna get pregnant, I’m gonna have a baby, but while I’m pregnant, I’m gonna make the No Doubt record.’ That was, like, the plan, but it all didn’t work.
“Like, we got a lot of hang-out time and we talked and had so much fun together, but we didn’t actually make too much music,” she continued. “Maybe around 4:45 to 5 o’clock we’d actually play the instruments and then we’d all have dinner. There was a lot of eating going on.”
In an interview with AOL Music, Gwen said she didn’t expect to write any songs while on this tour, but that she knows she needed “to change the atmosphere, get out of my house and not be in mom mode. To be onstage and see people singing those songs that we wrote, there’s nothing more inspiring than that… What we’re searching for is a new direction, new inspiration and new music.”
The tour begins Mat 19 in Fresno, California. I just might sell my soul to go to more than one concert date.
As you may recall from my interview with TOM DUMONT (!!), the band are taking their families on this tour. In the May 2009 issue of Spin, Stefani mentions that for this first time since they formed 23 years ago, they’ll be riding in separate buses. I guess that what it takes to bring your kiddies with you. And their nannies. And your crew.
Don’t forget that No Doubt’s appearance on Gossip Girl airs May 11th! The CW has some photos already, check it:

Ohmygod, I hope youre prepared for the level of fangirl I’m going to reach. Haha.
Jackson Rathbone Doesn’t Want To Deface Your Face
Listen, Twilight fans, sometimes you just go a little too far. Jackson Rathbone, who plays hot (dare I say hotter than Rpattz?!) bloodsucker Jasper Hale in the movie, will not autograph your face. Or, maybe he will, but he’ll be slightly uncomfortable about it.

Your boy Jacksper graces the pages of Inked Magazine’s latest issue, talking about his future tattoo-ambitions.
“I only have one right now, but I definitely plan to get more,” Rathbone reveals. “My friends and I were kind of the bad kids, in school, the troublemakers…The school administration was like, ‘Stay away from those boys-they’re ‘Lost Boys,’ so that’s what everyone called us. When I was 18, I got a tattoo that says, ‘I’m lost.’”
“I’d love to get the Rathbone family crest on my back—it would take up my whole back. Our motto is ‘Suaviter et Fortiter,’ which means ‘nicely, but firmly,’” Rathbone says. “My dad always taught me that you’ve got to give respect to get respect, and you’ve got to give love to get love. Makes sense, right?”
Mmm. I approve.
Rathbone, as you probably know, is also a rocker, playing in a band called 100 Monkeys. So he has groupies off all kinds flocking to him.
“The 100 Monkeys fans are wild—one of my bandmates once got molested in a bathroom after a show,” Rathbone says. “The Twilight fans are so amazing—they’re always asking me to sign stuff, like their faces, or their cell phones. I’m like, I don’t want to de-face your cell phone! And I especially don’t want to de-face your face.”
I’m eye-rolling right now for the obvious comments you’re making in your head. Yes, I can hear your thoughts.
Ask Ashley Tisdale
Have you got some burning questions for Ms. Tisdale? About Guilty Pleasure, perhaps? (in stores June 16th). Go make a comment and she will answer a bunch of them via vlog or journal post. I kind of want her necklace in this photo but it’s probably a bajillion dollars.
