I have about twenty minutes until I watch the MTV Movie Awards 2009. I have already cheated and read all the winners and looked through all the red carpet pics from the pre-show. As much as I want to believe Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are a happy couple and acting duo, I found this one picture where they look good, but something is not right.

Pictured below is Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. The hottest nominees to sweep the MTV Movie Awards. The picture below is pretty rewarding for an actress voted for best female performance and an actor chosen for best breakthrough performer. They look like they might be acting, however, after perfecting the art of looking at R.Pattz and K.Stewart pics, I can tell something deep is going on here. Something more then just a best kiss award acceptance face. As a speculator I suspect that there is painful love in the air.

Kristen – Is everything okay? Is the makeing out in real life with R. Pattz effecting your profesional presentation with him? Or is it strengthening your picture posing skills? You do look pretty passionate here, more so then when we see you half smiling on the red carpet.

R. Pattz – Are you praising to the forehead of Kristen Stewart since it was her lips and her touch that you got you nominated for best kisser and best fight scene? Do tell us, what is going on in the your young mind?

We judge people on the arrangements of their features and their style. Care to tell me that you don’t? Well, I would say that you might not judge your friends on their beauty, but you certainly pick up a magazine cover or check out a musician on stage and say “damn that girl looks awful in that outfit” or “wow what was she thinking wearing that much eyeshadow”. For the seventh round of ScarletMadeline’s Makeup Mastermind I will be looking at musician sisters. First we will look at Meg & Dia and then we will look at The Veronicas.

Meg and Dia:

Sisters Meg and Dia are known for their beauty. They definitely can pull off the natural look well because of their pretty olive skin. If you are looking to rock this look, break out the brown eyeshadows and nude lip gloss. They are also wearing VERY subtle pink blush. It looks as if Meg has filled in her eyebrows and Dia has not. It definitely gives Meg a finished look which I like. They are also both wearing black eyeliner and Mascara which go great with their skin tone and dark hair. If you are blonde and trying to look natural, I suggest using dark brown mascara and eyeliner.

This Picture of Meg and Dia is definitely a little bit more spicy. I love that they added the red lipstick! We all know that the brown smokey eye look is not earth shattering and pretty much everyone can pull it off. Although, not everyone can pull off red lipstick. Red lipstick is very in right now and I suggest giving it a try (its all over the red carpet). Wear it to a concert, on a date, even to school! You will stand out and look awesome!

SMOKIN’ RED LIPS TIPS:
1) Make sure you whiten your teeth before you wear red lipstick. Reds bring out the yellow in teeth and the last thing you want is to have your teeth ruin the whole look.
2) Use some red lip liner. Lipstick tends to bleed and then stain your skin, which is NOT hot. If you use lipliner it will keep the lipstick on your lips and not on your face.
3) Wear a sparkled or clear gloss over the top. Red lipstick can flake and lack moisture. If you add gloss it will add depth and shimmer to your once flat lip color.

The Veronicas:

Unlike Meg and Dia, The Veronicas are known for their outrageous 80′s inspired makeup which definitely makes them stand out from the crowd. They are the perfect example of RED LIPS! They are also rockin’ the classic cat eye (black liquid liner). It also looks like they have a pearly white eyeshadow all over their lid all the way up to their eyebrows. I know (because I’m pretty much albino) that if you don’t wear blush, you can look washed out. The twins are definitely wearing blush in this pic, but the lighting from the shoot makes it look very light. Unfortunately I think it kind of makes them look washed out, but they still look extreme and hot.

Here is a picture of Madonna from 1985, and her makeup is EXACTLY like the veronicas. It is true that trends always come back full circle and here is the proof. The only difference I see is that Madonna looks like she’s wearing a little bit of brown eyeshadow as well. I personally like The Veronicas version better.

Are their any similarities between your style and that of previous generations? GIMME THE SKINNY!

All you Third Eye Blind fans out there awaiting the new album can finally step back from that ledge.  3EB themselves announced a serious release date for their first studio recording in six years.

In a post on their website, the band said Ursa Major, which has been pushed back repeatedly, will really and truly be out on Aug. 18. (Of course, this news was posted next to a pic of a giant bear, presumably because the album title means Great Bear in Latin.)  ”So happy springtime everyone!” the band wrote.  ”The time of Ursa Major is upon us.”  

The band, which first scored hits like “Semi-Charmed Life” all the way back in the 90′s, has been making a surprising comeback (their new song “Non-Dairy Creamer” is getting radio play).  And the band found themselves warmly received by the crowd at this year’s Bamboozle fest.  

Responding to questions about the album’s oft-delayed release, guitarist Tony Fredianelli told Billboard.com “recording and rerecording the record a couple of times had a small amount to do with it too.  And our singer’s writer’s block didn’t help either but finally we got past all of that and we’re starting to see the sun in the dawn.” 

 The biggest setback for the band, though, was when their old label Elektra went under.  Drummer Brad Hargreaves explains, “Since our last studio release we left Elektra and have been working on toward being independent since.  Elektra actually made us a great offer.  They were like “here’s a giant pile of money to leave your record label,” and we were like “sweet.”  Elektra was going under not long after the record was released along with other labels, so it gave us a great opportunity to be independent artists.”  Third Eye Blind totally independent?  Sweet indeed!

In the wake of her summer tour, Demi Lovato has announced via tweet that her new album will be named “Here We Go Again.”

Lovato tweets: “MY NEW ALBUM NAME IS……….It’ll be titled after a track from the album, ‘Here We Go Again.’ Wooo hooo!!!! I can promise this album is going to be a lot better than the last, and it’s definitely more ‘me’ Comes out JULY!!!! Keep your eye out for it!!!! And this summer on tour I’ll be performing so many songs from my new record… Come see me!”

So what exactly does more “me” sound like?  According to Lovato, it means more like John Mayer. She told MTV that the album will have “a different sound, so hopefully it goes over well. I sing a lot of rock, but this time I want to do more John Mayer-ish type of songs. Hopefully I can write with people like him. I love their music, it would be amazing.”

Could William Beckett of The Academy Is… help Lovato achieve the new sound? In April, Beckett tweeted that he was collaborating with Lovato on her sophomore album. However, Beckett fans disapproved of his pairing with the Disney popstar and had so much to say on the matter that Beckett tweeted, “Half of you make me want to delete this thing.”

So how will Lovato fans respond? Lovato’s first album Don’t Forget achieved commercial success, debuting at number two on Billboard’s 200 and selling more than 400,000 copies, but will her dedicated fans appreciate the alleged mellower vibe of Here We Go Again?

Iggster49: I was with this girl for a year and a half. One day we got into a argument and decided to break up with me. About a day later she changed her number. The only thing I have as bait for her to have to call me some time is that I have her pointfest (music festival) ticket, but she doesn’t want to get it from me in person. How can i work my way in to talking with her in person and trying to work this out?

Sophia: Break ups are tough. especially after a year and a half. If she doesn’t want to see or talk to you its probably, because she is so hurt with how the argument turned out and how the relationship went sour. She might figure that if she sees you again it will exacerbate those bad feelings. If you really want her back, I suggest you send her flowers with a romantic note. You shouldn’t want to “bait” her back into your life, rather let her know how much she means to you. Good luck!

Prettyfukinawkward: Why are all girls crazy? Why are all guys jerks? The end.

Sophia: You know thats what it can look like sometimes. The hope is that we are able to find jerks and crazies we can live with and love. There’s good and bad in everyone. It’s important to find people that have a good side that overshadows the bad. When the good outweighs the bad, you’ve found someone worth keeping in your life.

Cuddlemecute77: Fall Out Boy, Metro Station, Farewell, Danger Radio, and The Kid’s International.

Buzznet: What is your favorite concert you have been to?

Cuddlemecute77: The Believers Never Die Tour part deux. This was my favorite concert because I got to see my favorite band (Fall Out Boy) play for the first time. Also because I got to meet Mason Musso from Metro Station, Alex from Cobra Starship, and Jack from All Time Low.

Buzznet: What was the inspiration behind your t-shirt design for Hoo Do You Love?

Cuddlemecute77: I believe everyone has someone they love so the question is.. Hoo Do You love? Also because I love owls. They are amazing creatures, plus I have a really bright and colorful personality. So I chose bright colors in my art to express myself.

Buzznet: Who is your favorite artist?

Cuddlemecute77: Well I really don’t have a favorite artist, because art is all too different to just favor one artist’s work.

Buzznet: What are your favorite movies?

Cuddlemecute77: My favorite movies are Lord of the Rings, Wall.E, Twilight, and The Dark Knight.

Buzznet: Who and what is your inspiration as an artist?

Cuddlemecute77: : Three people who inspire me include, Pete Wentz, Peter Jackson, and my best friend Scott Davis.

Buzznet: Are there any specefic bands or artists that you would like to see wearing your shirt?

Cuddlemecute77: I think Cassadee from Hey Monday would look really cute in my shirt, Although, I think some of the guys from the other bands could pull it off too lol.
