What do you get when you mix Nirvana/Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stoneage, and Led Zeppelin?  

You get an amazing supergroup is what you get.

While there are no details about the group (as in band name, sound, release date, etc), what we do know is that Dave Grohl is taking his spot behind the drum kit once more to make magical music with Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones and Queens of the Stoneage frontman Josh Homme.  And while they’ve been at it since 2005, still no results and not a peep…

Except a small statement from my favorite female rocker, Brody Dalle (The Distillers, Spinnerette), who happens to be Josh Homme’s wife.  In a statement to Spin, Brody said, “I’m not at liberty to talk about it, but I think [the project] is pretty fucking amazing.  Just beats and sounds like you’ve never heard before.”

Personally, I’m freakin’ dying of anticipation.  This better come out soon or I’m going to have a heart attack.
