Nile’s Karl Sanders to offer guitar lessons during tour
In an unusual move, Nile guitarist Karl Sanders will be offering guitar lessons before every show during their upcoming US tour. Only four students will be admitted per lesson to ensure that all receive individual attention and signups are on a first come, first serve basis. [Cut = Read more...] In my opinion, this is a very cool and unique move by Karl. There are few musicians willing to take the time out to spend time with their fans. The price tag is rather hefty at $100 per hour, but it also covers the cost of the show as all students will be put on the guest list for that night’s performance, and allowed to hang out during Nile’s soundcheck. According to Karl, lessons will include:
- Extreme metal guitar techniques
- Melodic guitar application within a death metal context
- Warm up routines
- Chop building exercises
This is a very special opportunity for any budding metal guitarist as Karl is extremely talented.
