See What You Did, Decaydance?

The general consensus I got from my post about Decaydance signing the Millionaires was that Gabe Sapporta is to blame (correct me if I’m wrong).

Well, now there’s hard evidence of the damage it’s doing to our youth.

Now, I’m all for freedom of expression in fashion, music, etc etc etc.  But, let’s be honest, some things are just more acceptable than others.

At the opening day of Warped Tour last Friday, I thought, ‘Gee, wouldn’t it be funny to rile people up by hating on BrokeNCyde and the Millionaires?’ because nothing is funnier than when people get angry.

So armed with my camera, I thought I’d find some tool bags wearing the aforementioned bands’ apparel… no such luck.  But what I was was almost worse.

At the very end of the day, I happened to walk by The Millionaires’ tent on my way back to see Bad Religion.  And much to my surprise, there was a long line, like really long line to of people to (I guess) see the Millionaires/get autographs.

Witness:

(above: beginning of the day)

The line goes on for a lot longer, but I couldn’t get back that far/wasn’t going to waste my time doing so.

And just so people don’t think me intolerant of awful music, we all have guilty pleasure music we listen to.  That’s ok, as long as you realize that supporting such artists does THIS

and THIS:

(the chick on the left is ok, but the right… Rainbow Brite mixed with The Millionaires, right?)

So, Gabe Sapporta, Millionaires haters everywhere blame YOU.  Thanks a lot.

Right, so if you were one of the people in line to see the Millionaires and are brave enough to admit it, I’d love to hear your side of the story.
